This song reminds me of New Braunfels and dancing at the Bavarian Village. My mom's side of the family goes to New Braunfels every year in the summer. The Bavarian Village is closed down now, but when I was growing up we would go there and dance. They had a band called Oma and The Oompas. We would have so much fun dancing the polka. I always liked this song and when I hear it, it makes me think of Grandmama. I can picture her dancing to this song and it makes me smile.
